While there is not much to do within Templegoue area itself, it’s not too far of a walk or drive from main tourist attractions within Dublin. Nevertheless, Templegoue is home to one of Irelands most beloved pubs, The Templeogue Inn, famously known as The Morgue. Perhaps you’re wondering why it’s coined The Morgue? During the 19th and 20th century, the Dublin and Blessington Steam Tramway passed through Templegoue so close to The Templegoue Inn, that it caused many deaths to locals who used to drink and eat in that pub. With all things considered, it’s a very bleak nickname to give to such a lovely local. Regardless, I suppose that’s how it builds its character.
In addition, if you’re a foodie there’s a fantastic cafe that makes great confectionaries called Cosy Corner Cafe. Furthermore, if you’re a coffee lover, you should also check out Village Coffee House.
